ME S-STEM Scholar, Lucas McCullum, presented his research work at the ASME SMASIS conference in San Antonio, Texas in September 2018. Lucas is the leading author of a paper entitled "Use of Piezoelectric Material for Advanced and Cost-Effective Tumor Screening." He has worked in Dr. Soobum Lee's lab with collaboration with Dr. Liang Zhu in the Mechanical Engineering Department in the past two years. It is quite an honor to be selected to have a podium presentation in the conference. Congratulation, Lucas.
