Dr. Madan visited Carrol County Community College and gave a seminar to the students and faculty there on Feb. 28th, 2020. This is part of our initiative to collaborate with our community college partners to promote student transfer to UMBC after their associate degree. Dr. Madan's seminar consists three components: ME curriculum in general, scholarship opportunity at UMBC, and ongoing research projects in her lab. The seminar was well received by the students. We are excited to see more students in Carrol County Community College to apply for UMBC ME program.
