Dr. Zhu was invited to give a research seminar to students in the Howard Community College on March 7.  The students are first year community college students.  Dr. Zhu provided information on the mechanical engineering undergraduate program at UMBC and ongoing research projects in her lab.  The focus on bioengineering related research attracted students' attention on an interdisciplinary research field in engineering.
